View BG File stories in a whole new way!

Beginning in the Fall of 2006, students in an Interactive Communication Technologies course at Bowling Green State University taught by Kelli Kling have played an important part in the development of BG File.

The roles taken on by the students have varied from semester to semester, but each student's experience culminates in authoring a story and developing web pages for their selected topic.

Students do their own research for their stories and also draw from video, images, and other content produced by Sea Lion Studio.

More ContentNow, we are proud to present the students' websites for the first time on BG File.

When you see this icon on a page, that means additional content from a TCOM 264 student is available. Learn more about your favorite stories!

Some of the story topics the students have chosen to work on include:

The TCOM 264 Project continues this semester with 17 students working on story topics including Grounds for Thought, BGSU Women's Basketball, the Falcon Film Festival, and others.

The TCOM 264 Project page on BG File has links to all of the previous stories students in the course have been involved in, as well as more on the history of the project.

A number of TCOM 264 students also participated in the production of short videos Sea Lion Studio produced for use by the Admissions Office at BGSU.

The videos are presented on a large flat-panel screen in the Admissions Office for viewing
by visiting perspective students.
