The menu lists all the standard fare you'd expect to find, but many customers simply request what they want and the cook preps it right up for them. It's one of the ways the grill takes care of its loyal customers, as the cooks and waitresses often know ahead what the regulars want to eat. The Corner Grill may not offer a colorful menu displaying picture perfect dishes, but it does serve up the type of homey, kitchen-table food that keeps many coming back for more.
Over the years the diner has had a number of different owners. Larry Cain is the current owner, and along with his two daughters has put heart and soul into the restaurant. This past April they celebrated their third-year anniversary and remain happily committed to maintaining the familiar atmosphere that so many have come to know.
Megan Cain, who manages the grill, says the father and daughter team has tried hard to maintain the original features of the Corner Grill. Inside you'll find the original counter tops and even the original grill from when the diner first opened its doors.
You'll also find newspaper clippings on the walls, and other mementos collected through the years. To be sure, no matter what time you visit the Corner Grill, you'll find a diner with lots of personality and great food.
