Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce's annual Golf Scramble is the single largest fundraiser for the group each year. The event, which has been part of the community for over 20 years, is held each year during the last week of August at Stone Ridge Golf Club on the eastern edge of town.
The golfing begins at 12 noon with a shotgun start as groups play in a scramble format competition. The playing comes to an end around 6 pm when everyone is treated to a buffet dinner followed by a ceremony for the awards and prizes.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has nearly 500 investors, a large portion of those being small-sized area businesses. The Chamber plans to continue the annual golf outing as great networking tool as well as a fun time for its investors and their guests.
